Laura’s ideas from lunch:
1. Save all the oral syringes and the blue caps from the hospital. They definitely come in handy – ESPECIALLY the larger ones as your child grows.
2. Always check with your cardiologist before giving your child medicines that weren’t prescribed by the cardiologist.
3. It’s a general rule of thumb that decongestants and motrin are No No’s for heart children.
4. Use the enclosed notebook to keep track of your child’s meds, weight and height. Comes in handy when talking to different drs on the phone AND you have an easy record of his / her growth.
