We took the 3:30pm Delta Song flight out of Hartford and arrived in Orlando at 6:30pm. Rented a car and drove to the in Disney World. Our room was in the building. We dropped our luggage, grabbed a snack and then got the girls to bed for the evening.

We are in Disney World ! This morning’s plan was to go to the Magic Kingdom and have breakfast with Pooh and Friends. Olivia wasn’t too sure about the characters but she allowed Piglet to kiss her.    We spent the day riding rides and just enjoying our day.

We spent the day at Epcot with Maddie’s friend Jeremy and his family.     For dinner, we had reservations at the Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom.  The food was mediocre at best and Olivia was terrified of the characters at this point. Goofy made light of it but Olivia would have NO part of any of it. 

May 2, 2006

This was our day to hang at the pool, catch up on laundry and just chill out.  We rented a surrey bike and drove around the resort. While Olivia napped, Maddie & I rented a “water mice” (two person boat) and drove around the seven seas lagoon.  She told me “This is the best thing we’ve EVER done!”

Dinner was at 1900 Park Faire at the Grand Floridian. The food was extraordinary and  we got to see Cinderella, the mice and the prince!    We decided to walk back to the Polynesian after dinner and I got some amazing pictures of the girls on the beach.

Arnie had an IOU for Sea World from back in 2001 so we went today.  We weren’t big fans and don’t plan on going back for a while.
