Yesterday was the first time I heard Olivia converse in Spanish. She’s used some spanish here and there with us (mas for more and agua for water). However she refuses to talk to me in spanish. If I ask her a question in spanish, she responds to me in english or says “NO”.

As I was picking up Olivia yesterday, Diana’s sister Fernanda called from Colombia, South America.  Diana put her on speaker phone and Fernanda asked Olivia in Spanish “How are you?”.  Olivia got very shy and then responded “Bien, gracias” (good, thank you!)
She is SO CUTE!
